Re: IPC Swimming Classification

Dear Sports friends,
We are very sorry to inform you that we received negative answer from IPC Swimming regarding the Classification and Classification Seminar we had applied for in November 2006 and had the confirmation from Anne Green.
Unfortunately due to the complicated situation in IPC Swimming when IPC is undertaking IPC Swimming administration there are no IPC Swimming international authorised classifiers available for EUROWAVES 2007.
We have done all the best in communication with IPC and we have done all the required steps but the final message from IPC (IPC Swimming) is that there is no chance to secure classification this year in Brno.
We informed IPC (IPC Swimming) that we will try to contact directly the international classifiers to try to ensure that the swimmers entered into classification will get their international classification year before Beijing 2008.

We try to do the best what we can in this inconvenient situation to reduce the impact of the process that we cannot influence at all. We will provide at least the national classification for your swimmers and we will enter your swimmers with remark N (national classification). It will be send to IPC to use it for world ranking. The classification will be held by regional authorised classifier Jana Svarcova from Czech Republic.

We will do the best to organise nice and good quality meet and to bring here by our own way the international classifiers. We will inform you continuously about the situation.

We hope that we will meet all in Brno despite this situation. In the case of changes, let us know as soon as possible and make correction at the web entry.
